Anyone looking to celebrate Valentine’s Day in style could do worse than checking into the Hotel Costa Brava in Platja d’Aro.

The offer is actually open between from February 10th to 24th and for €100 you get bed and breakfast in a room over looking the Mediterranean, plus strawberries and a bottle of cava. The promised romantic candlelight dinner is an extra €50, making it not quite as good a bargain as it first looks, but the views from the hotel are spectacular and it has real charm.
