Costa Brava Water Parks

When you consider the number of beaches along the length of the Costa Brava you might imagine that there would be little call for water parks.

However, once the allure of the sand and the sea has worn off for some reason – when they have grown bored with sitting on the same stretch of sand day in day out, making sandcastles, splashing everyone within sight, throwing sand, and burying dad – or perhaps simply for a change of scenery, the kids will be thrilled to spend a day being entertained with a variety of waterslides, lagoons, pools, Jacuzzis and other aquatic entertainment.

There are three water parks on the Costa Brava, which can be found at Roses, Platja d’Aro and Lloret de Mar and all open during the summer between May/June and September.

May is a little cool, which is why just one of the water parks opens then, but certainly by July and August the water temperature is sufficient to get all but the coldest blooded creatures in the water.

Prices for adults and kids over 120 cm for a full day are around €30-33 and for kids over 80 cm €19; below that height kids go in for free.
