Woman confirmed dead after pedestrians swept into sea in Roses

One woman was drowned and another is missing after being swept into the sea on Friday at Roses.

Police have called off their search after finding no trace of the second woman, who witnesses are certain was also swept into the sea.

The dead woman was walking with her husband and niece at 7pm and although they were all swept into the sea her husband and niece managed to escape.
