Catalan vets are reporting a drop of nearly 10% in earnings following a reduction in the number of pets they now see.
Girona’s Veterinary College says that vets are treating fewer emergency cases, preventive surgeries and vaccinations due to the ongoing economic crisis and that pet owners are cutting back on the welware of animals as a result.
