Two hotels open in Tossa de Mar in time for summer

Two new hotels will be open this summer in Tossa de Mar, according to the mayor of the seaside town famous for its mediaeval walls.

One of the hotels (Tossa Park Aparthotel) is reopening after extensive remodelling after closing three years ago, while the other is completely new. The new hotel comprises of two buildings in the fisherman’s area of the town and is metres from the walls.

Other establishments are upgrading their facilities with an eye to improving their star rating, which is good news for the town to help reposition it away from the low end of the tourist sector, which it is often unfairly associated with.
