Two arrested for Ampurdan bag snatches
February 5, 2013Two Morocan nationals living in Palafrugell were arrested this morning on suspicion of robbery.
The first incident occurred in Platja d’Aro on Sunday when the pair emerged from their Seat Ibiza wearing masks and snatched a bag containing €80, a phone and credit cards from a woman on the street. The woman, who was in her sixties was unhurt.
Hours later they in did the same to another woman in Torroella de Montgrí, who was of a similar age.
