Home » Tourism chief says official occupancy stats are exagerated
The president of the Girona Hotel Association, Antoni Escudero, has said that the official tourism figures for August don’t match reality and accused the government of deliberately inflating figures. Escudero went on to ask for a relaxing of gaming laws in order to bring in more money to tourist resorts and condemned the traffic queues on the AP7 near France.
