Tossa residents campaign for medical centre to reopen at night

200 people in Tossa de Mar formed a human chain to protest against the recent timetable changes that mean the town’s medical centre is no longer open around the clock.

1,500 people signed a petition against the cost saving measure that means anyone from Tossa requiring medical attention at night must travel 26 kilometres, which obviously is less than ideal.
