Temperatures on Costa Brava forecast to hit 35°C

Temperatures on the Costa Brava are set to soar next week according to the latest weather forecast (that is to say the Yahoo forecast received on my iPhone, which tends to be just as reliable, if not more so, than the TV3 weather).
Temperatures have risen over the last fortnight after a cool spring (in fact we had our central heating on during the first week of June), meaning the garden is in havoc. I know apricots ripened about two weeks earlier than usual, as did spuds, but our tomato crop seems to be weeks behind last year (my only reason for involvement in the garden is related to my stomach).
While we’ve had a few storms and some rain, it’s been muggy for a few days which rather zaps my energy levels, but from a peak of 30.6 35° C a few days ago measured on our weather station, it is forecast to hit 35° C on Tuesday.
There is a good chance you’ll find me on the beach
