Spanish judges pre-emptively act against home repossessions

Following a recent European court ruling that property owners must be allowed to appeal unfair mortgage terms under consumer legislation in Spain (what it did not do was rule against abusive mortgage terms, as has been widely reported), it appears that judges are now pre-empting a change in the law expected in May to delay eviction proceedings in many cases.
