Poor figures for Girona airport in February

The airport at Girona has had another dreadful month according to figures released for February. Girona-Costa Brava airport saw passenger numbers drop 13.7 percent compared with the same month last year.

The drop is not isolated to Girona, but is a symptom of the continuing economic crisis suffered by Spain. Almost all airports have seen passenger numbers fall including Barcelona, which saw a 4 percent drop.
