Heat, fireworks and pigs: forecast for Platja d’Aro on 26 July

The temperature has stepped up another notch today making, making life a bit more uncomfortable for anyone trying to do any work (i.e. me!), but a good beach day with more to come. Here is the forecast foe Platja d’Aro (and I really wish all these apps would label it in Catalan, that’s how it is marked on the signs here):

We spent all last night out on the terrace, heard the fireworks in Blanes and had a couple of wild boars running just outside the garden, probably startled by the fireworks. I did try and get a photo and video of them, but there is nothing to see in the photos and the video is completely black with me calling “piggies!”. No wonder they ran off!
