Now here’s an odd one; a German couple posing as potential buyers of a hotel in Pals stayed there for more than a year, racking up a bill of €173,800. They have been ordered to repay the money plus interest and although sentenced to 2 years in prison, will not do so unless found guilty of other crimes.
