DO Empordà has received a welcome boost thanks to influential British Master of Wine Tim Atkin, who recently rated a number of wines from the region on his blog. The tastings of 85 wines took place at El Celler Petit in Sant Martí d’Empuries, which is a great little wine shop, and range from €5 up to the €100 mark.
