Club de Mar de Sant Feliu faces demolition order

The Club de Mar de Sant Feliu may be demolished imminently, after a long drawn out conflict between the town council of Sant Feliu de Guíxols and Turispania, the company that owns and operates the club.

Turispania had appealed an order to open up the beach to allow public access, in direct contravention of the Coastal Act.

A wetting between the two parties is scheduled for this week and it is reported that no no agreement can be reached the complex will be demolished by order of the Generalitat.
