Campaign to highlight dangers of sun exposure launched in Lloret

A campaign to highlight the dangers of sun exposure, particularly in children under 10, kicked off in Lloret de Mar yesterday. The normal advice was dispensed; avoid the sun when at full strength, cover up, wear a hat, use sunscreen.

The campaign appears to be aimed at locals, but given that it was launched in Lloret perhaps should be aimed at the tourist so typical of the town who within a day or so of arrival will be cooked an even pink colour without feeling it die to the amount of booze consumed.

The campaign will also go to Blanes and Sant Feliu de Guíxols in the coming weeks.
