Bus season tickets between Barcelona and Costa Brava to halve next year

Next year the Generalitat plans on introducing a season ticket system between Barcelona and various towns on the Costa Brava that will cut the current rates in half. Initially the idea was to introduce the scheme back in 2012, but the economic crisis put a hold on those plans.

Meanwhile, bus operator Sarfa has requested that bus lanes are in operation during the summer months between Palamós and Sant Feliu de Guíxols. The company currently serves 101 different towns and transports some two million passengers annually.
