Blanes calls for action on beach

The mayor of Blanes continues his efforts to sort out the problems with the town’s beach. The problem relates to a number of structures that once formed a desalination plant at one end of the beach. One of the options being looked at is to transport sand from the Tordera river, but as usual the reason for the delay in implementing action of any kind is economic. However, the mayor still hopes to have done something before the summer season.
