Arrests in Lloret’s Russian mafia case now stand at 14

Five more arrests in the Russian mafia money laundering case in Lloret de Mar takes the total number of defendants to 14.

The deputy mayor of Lloret is one of those implicated in the case, as well as the president of the local football team and the ex-mayor, Xavier Cespo, who has denied receiving money from Andrei Petrov, the supposed godfather, but admitted travelling to Russia with Petrov.
