2nd year of losses for Girona airport
December 10, 2013 Leave your thoughtsDeclining revenues at Girona-Costa Brava Airport mean it has suffered its second year of losses, according to figures released by Spanish airport operator AENA. It is a far cry from 2009, when Girona airport was the third most profitable in Spain, earning €18 million profit.
The losses of €2.37 million in 2012 were slightly better that the €2.56 million loss the previous year but the airport is a long way behind Barcelona El Prat, which made a €70 million profit.
