Camping in Blanes

A look at the options for camping Blanes has to offer.

For anyone planning to visit this area of the Costa Brava for camping, Blanes has a number of campsites clustered in the area close to the sandy beach of Platja de s’Abanell. The entire zone is devote to camping but there are nearby facilities such as restaurants and supermarkets and the town centre and port are within walking distance.

Càmping s’Abanell

Avenguda Vila de Madrid, 7

This campsite is ideally situated with direct access to the beach. It has small pitches suitable for a tent only with 3A power as well as larger pitches of 60-80m² with 4A power which are suitable for a car with a tent or caravan or a campervan.

There are also a number of rental chalets. On site you’ll find a bar-restaurant a pool and laundry facilities.

Càmping La Masia

Carrer Colom, 44

This large campsite is situated on level ground and has pitches with 6A power and running water and drainage. There are also a number of rental chalets available and a block of apartments. While it is only 100 metres from the beach, Càmping La Masia has two swimming pools on site and there is a kids’ pool with slides. On top of that there is a spa with heated pool, Turkish bath, sauna and jacuzzi as well as a cold water pool and massage. The campsite also has a gym and other sports facilities.

As you’d expect with a campsite of this scale there are a number of restaurants and bars. It also has a supermarket and bakery and laundry facilities are available.

Camping Cavall de Mar

Carrer Colom, 46

Situated next door to the previous campsite, Camping Cavall de Mar – Sea Horse – has 112 pitches of 60 m² and 80 m² with 6A power and running water in the larger plots. There are also glamping tents for 4 or 5 people as well as 20 rental chalets.

The campsite has a pool area near the entrance and you’ll find a bar-restaurant on site serving drinks, bread, pastries and takeaway pizzas. For more variety there are a number of restaurants nearby.

Càmping Solmar

Carrer Colom, 48

Along the same stretch of road as Càmping La Masia and Camping Cavall de Mar is Càmping Solmar. Once again it’s within easy reach of the beach with a swimming pool and kids’ pool. The campsite has two restaurants, one near the entrance serving a daily menu, tapas and sandwiches offering takeaway service. The other is beside the pool area and offers pizza, hot and cold sandwiches, pasta dishes and tapas. If you prefer to self cater then the campsite has also has a supermarket located opposite the entrance.

The tree shaded pitches are between 60 m² and 75 m² and all are provide with power. The campsite also has numerous chalets as well as apartments available to rent.

Càmping Roca

Carrer Colom, 50

Càmping Roca is the fourth campsite in a row on Carrer Colom. Here you’ll find a bar-restaurant serving traditional dishes and a supermarket and a bakery where you can buy essentials. The campsite has many rental chalets on top of the pitches for camping and caravanning. Many of these are tree shaded and have power and water.

On site is a large swimming pool with poolside bar as well as a paddling pool for kids. Dogs are welcome except dangerous breeds.

Càmping Blanes

Av. Vila de Madrid, 33

This campsite is something of a rarity being exclusively pitches for tents, caravans and campervans. It’s in a truly privileged position being right next to the beach. Pitches have 10A power.

On site you’ll find a terrace restaurant open in July and August, supermarket with fresh bread every morning, snack bar and laundry facilities. Càmping Blanes also has a modestly sized pool and a medical service is open during the peak months. Dogs are allowed provided they are not classified as a dangerous breed.

Càmping Voramar

Av. Vila de Madrid, 37

Also on the seafront is Càmping Voramar, with 70 pine-shaded pitches with 6A power suitable for tents, caravans and campervans. Charcoal barbeques are allowed on the plots and there are also a number of rental chalets available.

The campsite has a decent sized pool and pets are allowed except for dogs classified as dangerous breeds.

Càmping El Pinar

Av. Vila de Madrid, 39

This large campsite is right next to the Tordera river marking the very start of the Costa Brava along a 300 metres stretch of beach with direct access to the seafront. Most pitches have power and many have running water. Dogs are allowed on some areas of the campsite but they have very specific rules about what breeds are allowed.

On site you’ll find a swimming pool open during the summer and laundry facilities. The campsite also has rental chalets.
