While most of the holiday accommodation in Palamós is privately owned apartments, the town does have a small number of hotels both in the centre and also nearby.
The hotels in Palamós are a far cry from the kind of hotels built to cater for package tours and typical of Lloret de Mar. Several are converted farmhouses and they tend to be modest in size and family run.
Below we’ve listed four hotels in the centre of Palamós, within easy reach of the port and nearby beaches.
But you’ll also find four more than are in the countryside nearby, or out of town on or near the coast. They’re a little off the beaten track but perfect for getting away from it all. You either get a great beach or a secluded property in the hills. You’ll need a car to get around though and some of the nearby beaches are truly spectacular.

Casa Vincke Hotel
Carrer López i Puigcerver, 38
This spectacular old house near centre of town has nine rooms located a couple of streets away from the beach. The hotel has a garden with pool and a bar but you’ll need to eat out as there is no restaurant. There are plenty of places to eat down in the port area, so this shouldn’t be a problem. Rooms are modern but with features such as fireplaces and ceramic floors from a bygone era.
Hotel Sant Joan

The original structure of the Sant Joan is an old stone farm house, although there is a much more recent addition to the building. The original farm house just oozes rural charm. There are just 22 rooms within a large garden with pool and it is just ten minutes to the beach. The Sant Joan styles itself as a gastronomic hotel and as well as a restaurant serving Mediterranean dishes you can order bar snacks.
Hotel Trias

Hotel Trias is right next to the beach with a restaurant serving Mediterranean food and a bar open during summer with a terrace. Rooms and airy and modern although a bit overdone with the all white look and many have a sea view.
Hotel Marina

The Marina mixes traditional but with modern styling with comfortable rooms near beach. The immaculate restaurant serves dishes prepared from local. There is also a tapas and cocktail bar with extensive drinks menu.
Out of town
These hotels are a little distance from Palamós itself but provide great quality accommodation either near the beach or in the hills above Palamós. The town is close to the beaches of la Fosca and Castell, which are some of the best on the Costa Brava. La Fosca has a very shallow shelf and ideal for young kids, while Platja de Castell remains the last unspoilt beach of its size on the Costa Brava.
Hotel la Malcontenta

You’ll find this 5-star slice of luxury along a narrow road that runs between the C-31 (from Palamós to Palafrugell) and Platja de Castell. It’s about a kilometre from the beach and has just fourteen rooms in old stone house and a restaurant serving creative cuisine using local ingredients.
Finca Bell-lloc

This old farmhouse is set in the hills above Palamós from where you can see the Mediterranean. Within the estate you’ll find a winery and a hermitage and on the hill top is a castle. The farmhouse has six rooms available and there are three other accommodations on the estate. The restaurant serves traditional Catalan cuisine and tasting menus in the winery.

Set back just 200 metres from Platja de la Fosca, this hotel is ideal for a beach holiday. The restaurant serves local and international cuisine and specialises in fresh fish from Palamós.
Hostal la Fosca
Passeig de la Fosca, 24
Located on the promenade behind la Fosca beach, the hostal has 24 rooms, some of which overlook the beach. There is also a restaurant specialising in Mediterranean and seasonal dishes from organic local produce.
