Within a small bay with a sandy beach, Llafranc makes a great destination for your summer holidays. It’s little wonder then that it has more hotels and guesthouses than the other villages that comprise the municipality of Palafrugell.
Hotels are fairly small but all are highly rated by guests looking for a more genuine take on the Costa Brava than in the high rise resorts to the south. The town is small and easy to get round on foot, although you really need a car if you plan on exploring further afield.
Hotel BlauMar Llafranc

All the airy rooms in this top rated hotel in Llafranc have a sea view from a garden or terrace. While it’s just 500 metres from Llafranc’s beach, the BlauMar has a swimming pool in the gardens. There is no restaurant but the hotel does have a bar serving drinks and snacks.
Hotel Mas Pastora
Carrer Clara Campoamor Rodríguez
Originally an 18th century farmhouse set in large gardens with trees, rooms in Hotel Mas Pastora are located in a modern wing to the side of the stone house. The hotel is a few minutes from the beach and restaurants and parking is available on site.
Hotel Casamar

While the rooms here are nothing extraordinary, the Michelin starred restaurant certainly is. There you can order simple dishes prepared from local ingredients. The hotel is a few steps away from the beach with views across the bay.
El Far Hotel Restaurant
**** Muntanya de Sant Sebastià
This 4-star boutique hotel and restaurant is set high on the cliffs, right next to the lighthouse. The nine rooms are decorated in a nautical theme, all with a great sea view. The restaurant serves dishes prepared from locally sourced seafood, rice, meat and vegetables.
Hotel Terramar

This hotel has bright rooms right on the seafront with bar and restaurant. Just steps away from the beach, some rooms have a sea view.
Hotel Llevant

Another seafront hotel ideal for the beach with a restaurant and bar on site. Many rooms have a sea or mountain view.
Hotel Llafranch

This famous hotel is situated right on the beach near Llafranc’s harbour. Salvador Dalí used to frequent this hotel, once famous for its parties, and Wilt author Tom Sharpe was a long-term resident. Dating back to 1958, some rooms have a sea view or look out to the main square. As well as the terrace bar the hotel has a restaurant serving Catalan dishes with seafood sourced direct from the daily fish market at Palamós.
Terralet-Llafranc
Carrer Carudo, 12
A comfortable but fairly basic hotel some 75 metres from the beach with a bar providing drinks and snacks. Some rooms have a balcony and there is a sun terrace.
Hostal la Llagosta
** Carrer de Francesc de Blanes, 24
This family run guest house is situated right next to the seafront, making it ideal for beach holidays. As well as a bar Hostal la Llagosta has a restaurant serving seafood and rice dishes.
