Lloret de Mar camping

While most visitors to Lloret stay in hotels or holiday apartments the town also has a number of campsites.

Lloret de Mar is hugely popular during the summer months and one of the busiest resorts on the Costa Brava famous for its nightlife. The town has dozens of hotels catering for the huge surge in the population due to tourism. However  for those who prefer to camp there are a number of options too. Here we look at them all.

Camping Lloret Blau

Carrer de l’Aiguaviva

If you’re visiting Lloret outside the peak summer season and looking for somewhere to set up a tent or motorhome you’ll be pleased to learn Lloret Blau is open throughout the year. You’ll find as you approach the town from inland on the winding C-63 and just ten minutes walk from the beach.

The campsite has plots for tents and campervans as well as chalets and glamping. If you’re just passing through Lloret you also have the option of parking your motorhome overnight. That way you get power it required and have  access to the campsite’s facilities. These include a swimming pool, supermarket and bar-restaurant with takeaway.

Càmping Canyelles

Av. Canyelles

Located a little out of town, this campsite is located on the side of a tree covered hill with views out over the Mediterranean. While it’s a couple of kilometres from Lloret de Mar itself, Càmping Canyelles is within walking distance of the beach. But if you don’t fancy the 200 metre walk the the beach there is a road train that runs every 15 minutes in summer.

Many of the pet friendly plots have 6A and 10A power and there is also the option for glamping and a variety of rental chalets. On site you’ll find a decent sized swimming pool and a kids’ pool with slides. Next to the pool is a bar-restaurant serving a variety of international and Mediterranean cuisine. The campsite offers half and full board if required but for those who prefer to self cater there is a supermarket within the campsite.
