Covid-19

There are currently restrictions throughout Spain due to Covid-19. While the countrywide State of Emergency ended on 8th May 2021 the regions retain some powers to ensure the spread of the virus is controlled.

Here you’ll find the restrictions that apply in Catalonia, the region in which the Costa Brava is situated.

Restrictions have changed several times since first introduced in March 2020 under the State of Alert, which can make it difficult to know what is allowed at any particular time.
