With much of the area around Pals either farmland or forest you can really enjoy nature when staying here. There is a good choice for camping and you can mix days on the beach with delving into local history when you visit the medieval town of Pals. There are also a couple of golf courses in the immediate vicinity.
It’s easy to imagine spending your entire stay close to Pals. However, not far away is the more rugged coastline of Begur, which is also worthwhile exploring.
Camping Mas Patoxas
Carretera C-31 Palafrugell – Pals, km. 33
Mas Patoxas styles itself as a camping resort and bungalow park. It offers offers 70m² pitches with 6A power and street upon street of rental bungalows. On site you’ll find a large swimming pool, gym and supermarket and during the summer a doctor is available during certain hours. There is also a restaurant, bars and takeaway, allowing you to spend your entire holiday within the confines of the campsite. Camping Mas Patoxas accepts dogs for a small fee.
Cypsela Resort

This largescale resort style campsite has 462 tree shaded pitches and 430 rental bungalows just five minutes drive from the beach. On site you’ll find large pool, a paddling pool and waterpark. Facilities on offer include kinds clubs for different age groups, a bowling alley, sports facilities. You’ll also find shops, cash machine, hairdresser, restaurant, bar and pizzeria on site with a shuttle bus that will take you to the beach and back.
Camping Interpals
Avenida Mediterranea, 117
This pine-shaded campsite is ideally located just a few minutes from Platja de Pals beach and 5km from the medieval town of Pals. As with the majority of campsites in the area Camping Interpals offers both pitches and rental bungalows. If you like camping under canvas but don’t own a tent they can even rent you one and there are glamping options too. On site you’ll find a swimming pool, sports area and adventure playground. For food there is a bar-restaurant or buy supplies for self-catering from the supermarket. The campsite also has laundry facilities, fridge rental and bike hire.
Camping Neptuno
Carrer Rodors, 23
Set in a pine forest 1.5km from the beach, Camping Neptuno offers the usual mix of pitches and bungalows close to Platja de Pals golf course. You’ll find a swimming pool and water park with slides, snack bar and mini-market during peak season. The campsite also has laundry facilities. A couple of points to be aware of before arrival. While gas barbeques are allowed you are not allowed to burn charcoal or wood. Also, the campsite does n0t accept pets.
Camping Playa Brava

Also next to the golf course and with an exit directly onto the beach is Camping Playa Brava with pitches and rental bungalows. The pitches are between 70m² and 120m² and provided with 10A power. Pitches are tree shaded many are separated by low hedges for additional privacy. The campsite has a bar-restaurants, supermarket with bakery, swimming area, mini-golf, medical facilities and laundry.
