Interest in Spanish property reported to be rising

An article on Spanish Property Network quotes UK based estate agency Conti as saying that enquiries for properties in Spain have surged in the last three months.

Spain is once again the number one destination considered by people in the UK when buying property abroad, with 43% of all overseas property enquiries now being about the country. Various factors are cited, with sterling having improved against the Euro, booming tourism in Spain meaning more people are experiencing the country first hand, a huge drop in prices since the peak, and easy access.

Foreign investment is reportedly up 13% year on year and while you should be careful of low quality or badly located builds, there are many bargains to be had.
